Hours of Operation
The Academy will be open during it’s scheduled class times. There is no guarantee someone will be in the Academy outside of these hours. Please call 610.874.8080 to verify daily hours of operation.
School Closings
The Academy may be closed due to inclement weather. To see if classes are canceled, please call 610.874.8080 one hour before the beginning of class. There will be a special message on the answering machine indicating school closing. You may also check our Instagram or our Facebook page.
When You Arrive
When dropping your child off, enter through the front entrance and proceed downstairs to the waiting room. If you arrive early to pick up your child, kindly wait downstairs. We advise children wait inside the building until a parent or guardian arrives. Rough-housing and running is not permitted in the waiting area. Children must be supervised.
Directions
FROM BALTIMORE PIKE & RT 352
Go south on 352 (Middletown Rd.) for several miles until you come to DUNKIN’ DONUTS on the left (Middletown Rd. becomes Edgemont Ave. from Brookhaven to Chester.) Just past the traffic light at Roland Rd., turn right onto W. Beechwood just past DUNKIN DONUTS. Go to “Once on W. Beechwood”.
FROM MAC DADE BLVD OR 22nd STREET and RT 352 in CHESTER
From MacDade Blvd or the I95 exit and RT 352 (Edgemont Ave.), head North on RT 352. Follow Edgemont for about ½ mile and when you see the sign for DUNKIN’ DONUTS on the right, turn left onto W. Beechwood Ave. which is the street just before the sign.
ONCE ON W. BEECHWOOD
Proceed to the first Stop sign. Turn right onto Norfolk La. The Academy is on the right and the Fire House is on the left. You may park in the spaces against our building on the right or turn left at the next street, which is Roland Rd.
Parking
Parking is available opposite the firehouse, in our lot accessed from W. Roland Road or street side parking, and on Norfolk La. When on Norfolk La., between PAMD and the fire house, you may park in one of the spaces in front of our building or go to W. Roland Rd. and turn left and park in front of the Fire Company; or turn right onto W. Roland Road and turn right into our parking lot. W. Roland Rd. is one-way out to Edgemont (Rt 352) from Norfolk La. with left side parking for residents, but it is two-way from the fire company West on W. Roland Rd.
